Accessibility online, in-person and philosophically (aka Planning for Access) with Alisha Vasquez and Aura Valdes

This dialogue between Alisha and Aura will deepen your understanding of planning for accessibility in programs. Alisha will bring her experience as a disabled person building accessibility practices into Tucson Meet Yourself, a citywide festival drawing 150,000 people to an urban center. Aura will share their path to producing accessible arts programming in-person and online among queer, BIPOC, and disabled communities.   This session’s goal is to provide examples to better understand the possibilities of accessible design and why it matters.
