About the Speakers:

My name is blew kind. I am an artist, mother, entrepreneur, and big dreamer. In the past 13 years I have founded and managed three businesses, one non-profit, and one co-operative non-profit. I am well known for my community café Franny Lou’s Porch in Philadelphia PA. I have over 21 years experience with community engagement & hospitality. I understand the ins and outs of business, having a first hand understanding on what owners need to be healthy and profitable. With my experience, I predominantly focus on black and brown founders offering them support and lifting them to soar.

Shanti Mayers is the owner of The Sable Collective – a boutique curated for women to explore narratives of joy, beauty and wellness. Shanti is also co-creator of “Around The Way Curls” – a podcast rooted in friendship, humor and self improvement. No matter her business or creative medium, her focuses are self discovery and community engagement. Shanti is a mother to a lovely daughter that is cooler than she is. They live together in Philadelphia.
